Batemans bay fires

A bushfire has been burning out of control north of the NSW South Coast town of Batemans Bay for weeks, disrupting both the Kings Highway and the Princes Highway, which connect the town to Canberra and Sydney respectively. Tourists and locals have fled to the beach, as a fast-moving fire burns in the coastal area.
