New Yorkers, both healthy and sick, are asked to stay home as much as possible. If you feel unwell: 1. Before you make an appointment you should carefully read the visa application process available on the website, complete your application form with all the supporting documents to submit your visa application at the AVAC. Your personal information (including your name and contact details) will be collected by DFAT via Setmore to book your appointment and for related purposes.


To make an appointment for passport or notarial services, please book online. Each passport applicant requires a separate appointment. We will prioritise emergency and urgent requests as well as requests that cannot be handled by mail.


An appointment is required prior to attending the High Commission (Wellington) or Consulate -General (Auckland).
