Can i carry alcohol in checked baggage to singapore

I wish to carry in my checked luggage a gift of a bottle of Gin (70cl). Do I have to declare it? I am flying to Singapore from France very soon and I was planning to bring a bottle of whiskey in my checked luggage for present. It will a bottle of Protected content.
