If your passport is lost or stolen, you have to tell us. It can be done online through passports. Overseas: Report it online at passports. You can only make an appointment to apply in person at a passport agency or center to replace your passport.
STEP 1: Head over to the nearest police station and lodge a report.

Call your country’s consulate or embassy to lodge a report. You’ll be asked for your passport number, which is why it’s important to have photocopies handy. It’s Saturday when the incident happened.
Renew or apply for a passport. Login or create an AusPassport account.
STEP 2: Head over to the Malaysian Embassy (or any Malaysian Mission centre) to report. We start frantically searching. We’re frantic… we’re swearing… we know what’s happened here: Someone has stolen our passports and wallets.
You should carry copies of a recent passport photo with you in case you need a replacement passport while overseas.
