I write you to let you know

What does I am writing? How to write a letter to a company requesting something? This is one of my pet hates. Both are completely redundant phrases I believe.


I write to let you know I think about you , L est you not decipher how I feel.

E ven though right now we are just friends, Y our closeness to me makes me want much more, O pening a barricaded door, U nraveling the veil that hides my ends. Let me know if you ever need anything. Letting you know that I love you and I’m thinking of you.


I hope these flowers remind you how special you are! Reminding you just how beautiful and loved you are! I miss you , and wanted to let you know I think about you all the time.


Neither is incorrect, but in the US I would not say that either is standard.

A short hand form might be. Which can mean when you find out you will tell them, it can also mean you will all be told at the same time. Find more similar words at wordhippo. It adds nothing to the discussion to ask the same thing again, especially when the answer has already been given.
